Toby’s Got Talent
We’re proud of our amazing teams here at Toby Carvery and we’re always on the lookout for rising stars across our 167 restaurants. We began our Toby’s Got Talent competition back in April, where we saw regional heats taking place across the country with one front of house star and one kitchen star winning their place to compete in the Toby’s Got Talent final. The standards of the competition were high in every area and we’re extremely proud of all the Toby staff who took part.
The final, in association with Pepsi Max, took place at Toby Headquarters on 15th May and gave our 24 finalists the chance to showcase their skills whilst competing with the other finalists in a series of challenges. Challenges included a Dragon’s Den style sales pitch, the perfect carving round and Pepsi Max cocktail making class.
We’re delighted to announce that our two grand 2017 Toby’s Got Talent winners are, Dee Russ at Thorpe Bay and Matthew Crank at Heaton Chapel. Dee is our star of the stage, front of house winner and Matthew is our fabulous king carver, back of house winner, big congratulations to both winners.
